![]() Tuca & Bertie on Netflix I love this new animated show on Netflix! I binge-watched the first season last week and I'm so sad that it's over. It took an episode to get into it, but stick with it! The show is super creative, funny and relatable. ![]() Barre 3 Online I took a hiatus from working out (like a two year hiatus if I'm being honest haha) but I decided recently to subscribe to Barre 3 online. I used to go to the Barre 3 NYC studio and I loved it. The online program lets me do it at home! It's a super uplifting, body positive workout that encourages doing what feels best to you that day. It makes me feel stretched, strong and happy! ![]() Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color These little guys are the MVPS of my makeup bag. They save so much time in the morning! Just swipe some color on your lids and blend with your finger. It looks natural and pretty, and they come in a ton of gorgeous shades. I use the darker ones as a smudgy eyeliner and the lighter ones for highlight and lid color. ![]() Do Anything Sauces They started stocking these sauces at our local grocery store and I love them!! I've been using them in place of regular pasta sauces and they taste good, plus they contain servings of vegetables! My favorite is the Savory Tomato Veggie. It's great on tortellini with some onions, peppers and turkey meatballs.

It's officially spring and there are so many cute new collections hitting the stores! Check out my favorite new arrivals below (and shop by clicking the photos). XOXO Happy Friday everyone! This is that awkward time of year where everyone in NY is like "Pleaseeee, I can't take the cold anymore!" Fingers crossed that the weather starts warming up soon because I'm so excited to break out my spring clothes and stop wearing heavy jackets. Check out my March favorite things below, and have a wonderful weekend! ![]() Trader Joe's Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend If you shop at Trader Joe's, do yourself a favor and pop this in your cart the next time you're there. I love it!! It's basically a bottle of the seasoning from everything bagels. I like sprinkling it on roasted veggies for some extra flavor (it's great on brussels sprouts!). I feel like it would also be yummy on roasted potatoes. You can even sprinkle it on top of your cream cheese on a bagel. Delicious! ![]() Keep It! Podcast I was never a podcast person and I never really understood why people always went on about them (I can be stubborn and avoid things that people keep telling me I "have to" do/see haha). But this year I've started listening to them on my commutes and I really do love it. The Keep It! podcast is one of my favorites. It's about the week in pop culture and it really catches me up on everything happening and cracks me up! I've definitely laughed out loud on the subway listening to this. Highly recommend it! ![]() Dr. Teal's Epsom Salts I've recently started taking baths for the first time in my adult life and it's become one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge. I probably do a bath about one night a week and I use Dr. Teal's Pure Epsom Salts. You can find them at Target and they come in a variety of scents. I've tried a bunch and I love them all for different reasons. Epsom salts help to ease sore muscles (which is great after a long week of hunching over a computer or during my period) and detox the stress hormones from your body. I love that Dr. Teal's are scented with essential oils. They smell so delicious! I also recently read that a hot bath burns as many calories as a 30-minute work-out. Sign me up! ![]() Dating Around on Netflix Adam and I had so much fun watching this reality show together! Each episode features a different New Yorker going on a bunch of blind dates, and then they surprise the viewer with who they decide to meet for date number two. We loved guessing who they would choose and laughing about the awkward moments, etc. I'm so curious if any of the couples will end up together long-term! It's getting to that point of winter where I'm getting sick of all of my clothes, missing the sunlight, and waiting for the weather to start getting warmer. To cheer me up, I've been loving checking out all of the amazing new spring styles starting to hit my favorite websites!! I am so excited to start wearing lighter fabrics and brighter colors. Bring on spring! Click the photos below to shop my favorite new arrivals. XOXO Happy February everyone! We've made it to the shortest month of the year! I hope you've all warmed up after that crazy cold spell we had. If not, here are some of my current favorite things! I hope they warm your heart and bring joy to your life like they have to mine. XOXO ![]() Thrive Causemetics Filtered Effects Soft Focus HD Setting Powder This stuff is amazing!! I've tried a lot of powders over the years, never finding one that I was crazy about, but I've finally found my one true powdery love! I love the way this stuff feels on my skin (soft and light, not at all cakey) and it really does help to blur any pores or imperfections to give a nice even, soft-looking complexion. It even feels hydrating in a way. Plus I find it really fun the way the powder comes up through the mesh sifter - no mess on my bathroom counter! Seriously, give it a try (plus it's vegan and paraben free). Available at www.thrivecausemetics.com, $35 ![]() Sex Education on Netflix Adam and I just finished the first season of this new show on Netflix and we loved it! It's basically about a group of high school students coming-of-age in England and it's funny, smart, and relatable. If you're looking for something to binge-watch, give it a try! ![]() LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask My lips get so chapped this time of year, so I've been slathering this on every night before bed. It feels so good and hydrating and it smells nice too! You just rub on a layer before bed and then you wake up with softer lips. It has really worked for me this winter! Available at Sephora, $20 ![]() S.W. Basics Original Cream I have been rubbing this stuff all over my face before bed and I definitely feel like it's helping with dryness and giving me a nice glow. It only has three ingredients!! How amazing is that?! It really is clean beauty with ingredients you know and can pronounce: shea butter, coconut oil and olive oil. It goes on pretty thick (and my boyfriend jokes that I makes my face shiny), but putting it on before bed feels so good. I wake up with hydrated, soft skin! Available at Target, $19.99 I've seen a few bloggers posting recaps of their favorite clothing purchases of 2018, and I loved it so much I'm doing the same! Isn't it the worst feeling when you spend money on something and then barely wear it?! These pieces I'm sharing below have gotten so much use in my wardrobe and can be worn in so many ways. They were worth every penny and I recommend them 100%. If you're trying to build a closet full of items you'll love and wear constantly, these are a good start. Happy shopping! ![]() Cozy Blanket Scarf I am obsessed with this scarf! It's so warm and oversized, it's like wrapping yourself up in a warm hug. If you live in an area with cold winters, you need a blanket scarf in your life! I promise you will wear it constantly. This one from Anthropologie is my favorite because it comes in a bunch of gorgeous colors (I have the hunter green but I also love the charcoal grey and the light pink) and the fringe detail makes it extra special. The material is super soft and the price is great! Available at Anthropologie, $48 ![]() Lace Cami Bralette Every woman needs a good bralette in her wardrobe. They are perfect for adding under a low-cut or sheer top when you need more coverage, or for throwing on when you're lounging around at home. I've purchased many a bralette that I ended up not liking, but this style from Carly Jean Los Angeles is my absolute favorite!! I have it in several colors and I wear them all so much. They are comfortable and hold me in place, and they look pretty layered under tops. Available at carlyjeanlosangeles.com, $18 ![]() White Birkenstocks I invested in these shoes last spring and I am so glad I did. I wore them allllll summer long with pretty much everything. I love the way the white pops with my outfits, and they are comfortable enough to wear when I'm on my feet all day exploring the city. They took about two wears to break in, and then they were molded to my feet and fit perfectly. I cannot recommend these shoes enough as you get your closet ready for spring and summer! They are worth every penny and will last for years. Available at Zappos.com, $99.95 ![]() A Leather Crossbody Bag A good leather handbag is an investment that will stay in your wardrobe for years. Last year, after my favorite black purse broke, I purchased this crossbody from Madewell. I use it almost every day in the winter and I love it! The size is small enough that I can easily toss it over my shoulder, but roomy enough that it can fit my wallet, phone, keys, gum, lipstick and a small book. The quality of Madewell bags is fantastic. I highly recommend! Available at Madewell, $128 ![]() Denim Overall Shorts I couldn't write this post without mentioning my trusty overall shorts! I got them at Gap last spring and wore them at least once a week all summer long. They are so comfy, but look put together, and they can be styled in so many different ways. I wore them over a crop top for a daytime bachelorette party, over t-shirts for casual weekend outings, and under cardigans and crewneck sweatshirts as the weather got chilly. They were such a great investment piece. This pair isn't available anymore, but you can find similar styles at ASOS, Urban Outfitters, and Madewell, and I'm sure Gap will have another pair this spring. ![]() Black Leggings A good pair of black leggings is a must! But it can be hard to find a pair that's comfy, good quality, and not too thin/sheer. In 2018, I discovered these leggings from Lou & Grey and they are my new favorites! They are lined with a super soft fleece material and are the perfect thickness. They're not too tight or high-waisted, but they're extremely comfy and flattering. I wear mine all the time, at home with my slippers and t-shirts, or outside under tunics. Available at Lou & Grey, $39.50 |
